2014 Dinner & Benefit Auction

2014 Approximate Net Profit: $200,000

We are pleased to report that God has poured out his blessing on NC by once again moving the hearts of many generous donors to give to the Dinner and Benefit Auction. This year we have a net profit of approximately $200,000. This is thanks to over 380 items donated by more than 260 friends of the school. Additionally, 100 volunteers contributed to the success of this event.

Nearly 300 guests attended the Saturday night dinner and were welcomed by the soft glow of candlelight and the big band sounds of the Knights of Rhythm. The student servers impressed our guests with their gracious service.

Twenty-five items were offered for sale on the Live Auction. Items that sparked aggressive bidding were a dinner with Governor Heinemann and the First Lady, 1,000 bushels of yellow corn, and a trophy buck hunt. The Berck & Strobel Motorsports Racing package, the hot air balloon ride for two, and a fabulous fishing experience with Darrin Brumbaugh were all able to be sold twice.

Scholarship Auction Total: $82,000

Donors also enthusiastically gave to the Scholarship Auction. NC has a $100,000 line item in the budget for student scholarships each year. The $82,000 raised will be a blessing to provide a much-needed scholarship for students who might otherwise not have the financial means to attend NC.

Thank you!

Thank you to all who donated time, talent, or treasure to make this event a success. The total net profit made for the school through the Dinner & Benefit Auction over the last 12 years has now passed $1.2 million! Please join us in thanking God once again for His faithful provision for NC through the Dinner and Benefit Auction.
