Annual Pancake Feed To Be Held This Saturday

For nearly 30 years, the Nebraska Christian Elementary has hosted an annual pancake feed dinner. Those involved include teachers, parents, students, and anyone who wishes to help out. Whether it’s making sausages or serving pancakes, all of the elementary parents are expected to help in some capacity.

“The reason we do this event is because it’s an easy way to raise some money,” says PTF President Deana Leonard. “Money that is raised is used to award some elementary families scholarships, pay for t-shirts at the musical, for gifts at Christmas, and to help people out if a need arises.”

The 2015 Elementary Pancake Feed will take place on Saturday, January 31, from 5:30 pm to 7:00 pm. If you are interested in attending this event, tickets are currently on sale from any elementary student. Tickets will also be available at the door. Tickets are $5 for grades 7-adult, $3 for grades K-6, and free for preschool and younger.
