Teacher Feature: Trish Murphy
Nebraska Christian Elementary School is a wonderful place for children to grow and learn in a Christ-centered environment. The elementary school has a great staff to help the kids with their education. For the spring semester, Nebraska Christian hired Trish Murphy as a teacher’s aide for the 3rd through 6th grade. Murphy is replacing her daughter-in-law Janelle (Bailey ’10) who left to stay at home with her newborn son.
Prior to coming to NC, Murphy worked for seven years at Polk County Christian School. She said that some of the kids from Polk County Christian actually end up coming to NC. Murphy also talked about how she enjoys being on campus and looks forward to getting to know the kids as she continues her career.
Murphy certainly is no stranger to Nebraska Christian, as her husband Chuck is on the NC board, and their children Charlene (’04), Holly (’06), Emily (’09), Elliot (’10), and Talia (’14) are all NC grads. Their youngest, Tara, is currently an NC junior.
