One-Act Drama

Nebraska Christian's drama team has existed at various times throughout NC's 51 years of operation. Following a break since the late 1990's, the drama team was revived in 2006 under the direction of Mrs. Gwen Prettyman.

Each fall, drama students prepare a one-act play and compete with it at conference and district meets. Not only do students receive valuable acting experience, but they also see the competitions as an opportunity to share their faith with students from other schools.

Following the end of the season, the team often presents the play in area churches. If you are interested in having the drama team perform at your church, please contact us.

The 2009 One-Act, "Searching for Happily Ever After," was written by Gwen Prettyman with assistance from the drama cast. The team placed 4th in the Goldenrod Conference and brought home the runner-up trophy from the district competition.
