English as a Second Language

Nebraska Christian offers ESL support in several areas corresponding to a student's level of English proficiency. Following are the ESL classes currently offered:

Beginning ESL Grammar
Bible
History
Science

Intermediate
Intermediate ESL Grammar
Writing
Reading
TOEFL/SAT prep

Advanced
Advanced ESL
Reading
TOEFL/SAT prep

Students who arrive at Nebraska Christian with a low level of English proficiency may take mostly ESL classes; as students become more proficient in English, they will be moved into regular classes. Tutoring is available for all international students.
