Four Selected to All-State Chorus
Four Nebraska Christian students have been selected to be a part of the 2014 All-State Chorus sponsored by the Nebraska Music Educators Association. Seniors Levi Elge (Bass 2) and Ethan Unruh (Tenor 2), Junior Matthew Myers (Bass 1), and Sophomore Marilla Flynn (Soprano 1) will be among the 440 students that comprise the chorus. Guest conductor for the group will be Craig Jessop, Dean of the Caine College of the Arts at Utah State University and also Music Director of the American Festival Chorus and Orchestra. The chorus will rehearse Wednesday, November 19 through Friday, November 21 on the University of Nebraska Lincoln campus. A final public concert will be held on Friday, November 21 at the Lied Center for the Performing Arts on the University of Nebraska Lincoln campus.
