Senior Amber Mazankowski said, “Tuesday night’s game was definitely one of the toughest games I think we have played all year. Cross County came out fired up and ready to play. Our team came out a little slow, but we picked it up; I feel like we played the game with great intensity and zeal! We all knew that all of our hard work needed to pay off, and it did in Tuesday night’s game. Thursday night’s game against Shelby was one of the most fun and intense games I think we have played all year. We came out ready to play and compete! It was so surreal when we won, but reality set in a couple hours after the game. I am so thankful for the win and so blessed by my teammates.”
