Carl Ostrand, the head coach of the NC football team, has some expectations for the junior high football players: “First, to develop fundamental skills of football and increase their knowledge and understanding of the game. Second, to develop strong relationships with their teammates.” Also, Coach Ostrand has some spiritual goals that he hopes the Junior High Eagles will achieve during the football season: “First, to grow in their trust and relationship with God. Second, to be courageous and self-disciplined. Third, to celebrate the success of others while striving to do all things to the best of their ability for the glory of God.”

The team is currently 2-2 and has one game remaining. “We are doing pretty well this season, but I think we need to get more physical,” said Seth Hower, an 8th grade football player at NC.

The Junior High Eagles are Elijah Boersen, Elijah Green, Anthony Jividen, Cody Kaczor, Carl Mundt, Grant Stuhmer, Toby Zaruba, Josh Strong, Hunter Dixon, Kalob Green, Seth Hower, Micah Loy, Nathan Mousel, Garrett Nokelby, Jack Stebbing, Garrett Swantek, Evan Valencia, Aiden Pipher, and JC Chen.
