NC Art Department Receives Grant
The Nebraska Christian art department recently received a grant for art supplies from Kirby’s School of Dance in York, Nebraska. NC was chosen to receive a grant through the Dance for Grant program based on 7th grade student Olivia Janssen’s application. Janssen is a first-year student at the studio’s Aurora location. “There are so many places in the school that could have used the money,” Janssen said, “but I thought we could really use the art supplies.”
Kirby’s School of Dance awarded $2,800 to local schools this year with hopes of raising the amount in the future.
