NC Plans Educational Summer Kids Camp

Registration for camp is now closed. To inquire about late registration, please call the office at 308-946-3836.

All students going into grades 3-7 are invited to join us for our Summer Kids Camp! We’re offering two weeks of camp: July 8-12, and July 15-18. Students can choose to attend one or both weeks of camp and can choose a bronze-, silver-, or gold-level experience. All students who attend the second week of camp will spend a day at the Henry Doorly Zoo in Omaha.

All students will participate in the morning sessions, which will include hands-on activities in the areas of art, science, math, and technology. In the afternoons, silver- and gold-level participants will go on a variety of outings. For our Gold-level campers, this is a sleep-away camp; they will stay in our dorms and eat all meals with us.

Planned outings (subject to change due to weather) for our silver- and gold-level campers include (week one) Lincoln Children’s Museum, the State Capitol, the Central City Aquatic Center, the Kearney Archway, (week two) the Henry Doorly Zoo, an afternoon on the lake at Timbercove, and the Edgerton Explorit Center.

Not only does this camp provide a great, affordable learning experience, but it also will give students the opportunity to make friends from around the world, as a group of Chinese students will be joining us for the camp!

The cost per week is $50 for bronze, $100 for silver, and $150 for gold. Registrations are due by June 14. To register, please go to nebraskachrsitian.org/camp. Questions can be directed to Amy Schreiber at 308-946-3836 or aschreiber@nebraskachristian.org.
