NC Breaks Ground on Gymnasium Update

The Nebraska Christian Schools board of education and administration, in conjunction with the Nebraska Christian Schools Foundation, are pleased to announce the beginning of work on Phase 2 of The Next 50 Years Capital Campaign. Phase 2A includes the build of a new kitchen, dining area, and ADA restrooms to the south of the current gym and dining facility. Phase 2B will see the build of a new gymnasium.

At this time, the Nebraska Christian Schools Foundation has voted to begin work on the first step of Phase 2A, which will address some of the most critical needs on campus. This step includes construction of ADA restrooms and a new entryway in an addition built onto the south side of the current gym building. Also as part of this project, air conditioning will be installed in the gymnasium.

The Foundation has the funds in hand to complete this first step of Phase 2A. The build is being done so that it will be cost effective and simple to add on the other components of Phase 2A (the kitchen and cafeteria) and Phase 2B (the second gymnasium) when the funds for those portions are raised.
