Elementary Chapel and Junior/Senior High Chapel meet once a week. Following a time of singing, a speaker presents a message from the Word. Past speakers have included former University of Nebraska football coach and Mission Nebraska co-founder Ron Brown, tennis pro David Wheaton, Creation Instruction Association founder Brian Young, CareActor’s Dale Phillips, missionary Gracia Burnham, and many area pastors. Once during the fall semester, the junior and senior high students gather for Spiritual Emphasis Day. In the morning, students have several sessions with a speaker, and the afternoon is devoted to games and other group activities.
Our junior and senior high students are placed into E-groups (encouragement groups) that meet after most chapels to discuss the message and pray for each other. These groups, led by junior and senior students, foster relationships between older and younger students and provide discipleship opportunities.
