Open House Scheduled for August 12

Believe it or not, school is just around the corner! Our annual Open House night will be next Tuesday, August 12. At least one parent from each family must attend this evening. Students do not need to attend (exception: athletes need to be at the 6:00 athletics meeting). Below is the schedule for the evening:

7-12 Schedule

6:00–All junior and senior high athletes and parents of athletes meet in the gym. Dr. Nate Krug will discuss the signs and symptoms of concussions, as well as other health information important for athletes and their parents. We will also explain our concussion testing procedures. It is very important for all of our athletes and their parents to be at this meeting.

6:00–Sycamore training in the computer lab. This optional training will acquaint you with Sycamore Education, which is our attendance, grading, and communication program. We’ll set you up with your login information and show you how to find your student’s grades and contact teachers.

6:30-6:45–Pick up student schedules in the entryway of the secondary building.

6:45–Opening prayer and announcements in the hallway.

7:00-8:30–Follow your child’s schedule through the nine periods.

8:30-9:00–Optional Sycamore training in the computer lab. NC clothing will be available for purchase in the hallway at this time.

Please note: No schedule changes will be made at Open House. All schedule changes must be made with Mr. Schreiber prior to this event.

Preschool-Grade 6 Schedule

6:00–Optional Sycamore training in the computer lab (see above).

6:45–Meet in your child’s classroom. Please bring the items from your student’s supply list so we can have everything in place when school begins.

7:30–Announcements, Parent-Teacher Fellowship information, and fellowship in the Music & Worship Room. NC clothing will be available for purchase at this time.
