Athletes & Coaches Receive Post-Season Honors

Following an excellent fall sports season, several NC athletes and coaches have received post-season honors.

Three NC volleyball players were named to the Omaha World Herald’s D-1 team: senior Carsyn Ostrand (1st team), junior Grace Langemeier (2nd team), and Adrienne Falk (honorable mention). These three were also named to the Goldenrod Conference All Conference teams. Ostrand and jLangemeier were named to the first team, and Falk was named to the second team.

Nine football players received D1-6 All District football honors. Seniors Jake Twogood, Toby Watson, and Noah Boersen received first team honors. Senior Justin Brock, juniors Seth Hower and Kalob Green, and sophomore Elijah Boersen were selected to the second team. Junior Garrett Swantek and sophomore Carl Mundt received honorable mention honors.

Two NC coaches will be coaching in all-star games. Head Volleyball Coach Tonya Ostrand will coach the Goldenrod conference in the Crossroads Conference vs. Goldenrod Conference All-Star volleyball game. Head Football Coach Carl Ostrand will be the assistant coach for the 8-Man All-Star football game.
