The dorms at Nebraska Christian are trying a new program this year called Adopt a Dorm Student. Much like the name of the program, students in the dorm can go stay with a family in the Central City area one Sunday per month. Host families are current NC families and staff members, parents of alumni, and others who want to build relationships with our international students. This program allows students to get outside the dorm and get to know families in the area, and it also allows families to get to know the dorm students. Eric Zanger, Director of the International Program, said, “I think for many of our kids, these Sundays are the highlights of their experience. This program been very successful, and I would love to see it continue in the future.”

The next Adopt a Dorm Student Sunday is January 15, and students and families alike are anticipating the day.
